Receiving Delivery
Inspect the box for any signs of damage before opening it. If you believe there might be any damage to the product inside, please take a photo of the unopened box. I have taken this raft fishing several times, and I have been happy with the boat every time. The floor does not bow easily and it does not react harshly to movement in the boat. There have been no leaks, and it has went through rocks and rocks. For the money, I have been very happy.
It is not very often that I leave a review of anything but this little gem deserves one. Let start off by saying I am 250lbs and not the healthiest person. I emailed Kayakish and told them I was having trouble handling my 10 year old FoldCat now that I am getting older. They recommended the new 375fc.
On their advice I ordered on and it arrived on time and well packed. The boat assembly was quick and painless. Assembled it rolls easily into the bed of my small truck and broken down it fits nicely into the trunk of my wife's Saturn ION.
I have fish both small and large rivers comfortably for up to 9 hours. With the 2.3 Honda I have trolled dipsy divers at 50 feet all day without having to refuel. Fly fishing is a charm with the great stability however if they ever make a leaning rail for it I would recommend getting one, I know I would buy one in a heartbeat. Standing is stable and handles wakes well.
The 375 Foldcat is an exceptional platform to fish from. Easy to manage, Comfortable and very stable
Just bought our Foldcat direct from Kayakish, the Pro-Angler package, with a few added accessories. Shipment arrived as expected and in good order. Did a setup in our garage to get an initial understanding of the assembly, inflation and deflation process. A few days later performed the real setup and maiden launch of the boat on a nearby lake. I paired the boat with a 2017 Yamaha 2.5hp 4 stroke motor. Both the boat and motor were great. The boat felt quite stable, certainly as good as the 10' jon boat I previously owned. Found the swivel seats very comfortable, enjoyed sitting higher up on the craft. Bought the 7" riser for the front seat as well and my wife enjoyed the setup. While she was initially concerned that the boat did not have sides, she actually felt quite comfortable on board as we toured the lake . We will do a Sept. fishing trip to give the Cat a full test, however do not foresee our initial positive opinion of this boat changing.
I've used it about 7-8 times now, and it works really well. Stays inflated, and the pump works to blow it up in about 10 minutes or so. My bf broke the pump trying to blow it up too fast but was able to fix it easily & it still works just fine. Very satisfied as a customer.
