    About the RazorLite™ Series

Now featuring Sea Eagle FlexBrace™ adjustable footrests!

Say goodbye to bulky, heavy, plastic kayaks! Modern inflatable kayaks are lighter & easier!

The World's First All Drop Stitch patented RazorLite™ inflatable kayaks are a much lighter, narrower and faster to paddle, high-performance kayaks for true adventurers!

A razor-sharp, tapered, hard-nose bow and stern, combined with a fully constructed Drop Stitch technology hull enables the Sea Eagle RazorLite™ Kayaks to cut through waves cleaner, straighter and sharper than any other kayak on the market allowing paddling speeds up to 6 mph.

Because of its high-performance design and capabilities, the RazorLite™ kayaks are best recommended for intermediate and above paddlers.

    Key Features

The RazorLite™ Kayak's Straight Hull Design

An important and unique feature of the RazorLite™ Kayak is its straight hull design which provides the maximum straight hull waterline length. This feature combined with the very narrow kayak width (25" at the waterline) allows the RazorLite™ to paddle as fast as any rigid kayak. The Bow and stern molds are made of durable plastic and cut through the wind, waves, current, and water like a sharp edge straight razor on a clean close shave. With superior length to width ratio, razor sharp bow entry, straight line planing surface and a precision razor sharp stern exit at the rear these inflatable kayaks are in a performance league of their own.

The RazorLite™ Kayak's Unique Bow and Stern Design with Tapered Side Walls

The RazorLite™ Kayak's rigid bow and stern molds create the worlds very first speed entry system that leads into a double concave and then opens into a flat planing surface. The double concave design at bow allows pockets of air to enter in between the hull and the water creating lift while reducing friction and drag. The double concave at stern creates a super clean exit. The Tapered Drop Stitch Side Walls provide a rigid chine at the waterline and secondary buoyancy and stability. These features combine to enable the RazorLite™ to glide quickly and effortlessly through the water!

    Bow and Stern Molds

The RazorLite™ Kayak's rigid bow and stern molds create a razor sharp speed entry and exit system. The bow mold cuts through the water effortlessly at a high velocity. The water then meets the carefully designed Tapered Side Walls creating lift while reducing friction and drag, then exits just as fast as it entered at the stern mold leaving little to no wake behind.

    Adjustable FlexBrace™ Footrest

The Sea Eagle FlexBrace™ is a fully adjustable ergonomic foot brace. Designed to provide hours of comfortable bracing. Streamline your effort while maximizing your drive on those long trips or when powering through the surf! Quickly and easily adjust to 20 different positions for any size paddler.

The World's First and Only Kayak Made Entirely Of Drop Stitch Material

The patented Sea Eagle RazorLite™ High Performance Ultra Light Kayak is the world's first and only inflatable kayak made entirely with Drop Stitch Technology throughout! This kayak uses 3" Drop Stitch material for the floor and 4" Drop Stitch material for the side walls. Our Drop Stitch material uses thousands of high tensile strength threads connecting the top and bottom fabric layers, creating thousands of I-beam supports. This enables the RazorLite™ to be inflated to a much higher pressure (10 psi) than other kayaks (3-4 psi) which increases overall rigidity. The unique Drop Stitch construction makes the RazorLite™ as fast as any rigid kayak in it's class and provides the added benefit of being able to pack in its own backpack. The RazorLite™ is as tough as nails, incredibly rigid, ultra light, and a delight to paddle.

Awesome

Awesome kayak! We have 2 in our sailboat in Mexico. They get lots of interest and positive comments from others. These paddle very well and track nicely without the skeg. My only complaint is that the foot peddles can be difficult to get in and out. It helped to shave down and round one end of the metal rod. One other thing on that topic - thr plastic ridges that hold the foot pedals in place have very sharp points - given the difficulty in installing the pedals (as mentioned), I feel like these sharp plastic points could do some damage to fingers and hands. Could you round these off?

High on Performance

The performance of a rigid kayak, but you can put it in a car trunk. Ive owned a number of rigid, inflatable and frame kayaks over the years and I am very impressed with this kayak. I can keep up with people in rigid touring kayaks with no problem. I paddle it regularly without the skeg and find it easy to steer. I often fish from it. As a performance boat it doesnt have the stability many other inflatables have. It would not be my choice for a sailboat tender for example. The folding seat had good adjustment points, but I was less impressed with the two strap option on the inflatable seat, although this can be remedied fairly easily. I find both seats less comfortable than most which is the biggest drawback for me. The included paddle is well built and functional, but those who will be doing much touring will probably want to upgrade. I strongly suggest the adjustable foot brace option. Their power inflator is also a great option.

Portable Fun

The kayak is truly portable and can be handled by one person. As a 70 year old woman, I can lift it up to the tailgate of our pickup truck. I couldn't carry it very far though. My husband made me a card using PVC tubes and wheel barrow wheels which works quite well. There are several things I love about the kayak -- it's extremely stable and easy to get in and out of, it's streamlined and handles well, it's easy to set up and inflate using the hand pump. My husband purchased an inflatable fishing kayak elsewhere which is a contrast in that it's more like a puffy life raft and doesn't function well either as a fishing boat or a kayak. He can't keep up with me.

Stable Kayak

Really love this kayak from Kayakish. Its stable and tracks well. Many people are surprised to find out its an inflatable. I have recommended her to many of my friends.

Like a dream

Every time I have taken my boat out, people are shocked when I deflate. They cannot believe it's an inflatable. I find paddling it a dream. Steady, fast, and comfortable. I love how much I can take with me, for multiple day camping trips (or simply a day trip that may involve stopping for a larger picnic lunch, holding extra baggage for friends, and carrying the pump and carrying bag anywhere I want without much thought...just in case). Customer service was great when I needed them due to a personal error. All I've had to do is get past my own unfounded fear of inflatables as somehow inferior; they are simply different, with different considerations than hardshells, and multiple extra benefits for certain cohorts. If you want a kayak that does not require roof support, or a truck (I even rode home in an uber one day after a trip around the city), this is the boat - or extra boat for you. I have only used it for about a month, so I will update if my feelings change. But for now, I'm obviously impressed.
